Sometimes it’s hard being a kid and there can be moments when problems just feel too big to deal with alone. You should always talk to someone that you trust like a parent, another family member, a teacher, a coach or a friend. But if you feel like those aren’t options for you, there are lots of community resources that you can reach out to for support.  

Chimo offers mental health crisis support Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm.  You will receive a response from a worker within an hour during days of operation.

The Be Safe app free and available at or the App Store. 

Be Safe is meant to help you make decisions in a crisis. It will:

  • allow you to make a safety plan
  • inform you about resources in London, Ontario and surrounding area

  • empower you to reach out safely


The New Mentality

The New Mentality is a network of youth facilitated groups from across Ontario who work with partner agencies in their communities to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

PARN - Your Community AIDS Resource Network is a community based agency providing support and health promotion for people living with HIV and people affected by HIV. PARN provides education for people at risk for HIV and awareness of AIDS issues to the broader community.
