Chimo offers a wide variety of mental health services for youth and families; however we recognize that further support and resources may be necessary to ensure the well being for your family.  The following is a list of community based programs and agencies that may help.

National Eating Disorders Information Centre (NEDIC)

Information on treatment or support regarding Eating Disorders.  You may need to leave a message and calls will be returned as quickly as possible.

Mood Disorders Association of Ontario (MDAO)

Support programs of people across Ontario and their families who are living with depression, anxiety or bi-polar disorder.

Available Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm



A registered nurse will answer your health related question, give health advice or general health information.

PARN - Your Community AIDS Resource Network is a community based agency providing support and health promotion for people living with HIV and people affected by HIV. PARN provides education for people at risk for HIV and awareness of AIDS issues to the broader community.

Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Youth Line

John Howard Society of Ontario

Providing crime prevention services for over 28 years, the Society is a non-profit, multi service organization with offices located in Lindsay and Minden. Through prevention, education, and interventions JHSCKLH works with at risk youth and adults through a variety of programs and services.
